GJT Window Metal Detector

The GJT window metal detector is an inspection device installed around a defined material path. It is used to detect a metal signal under the conditions set by the actual opening size, conveyed material, product effect and line configuration. A detector is not represented as a magnetic separator or as an automatic removal device: the required alarm, stop or reject response must be specified with the conveyor line.

The GJT window metal detector is an inspection device installed around a defined material path. It is used to detect a metal signal under the conditions set by the actual opening size, conveyed material, product effect and line configuration. A detector is not represented as a magnetic separator or as an automatic removal device: the required alarm, stop or reject response must be specified with the conveyor line.

Selection starts with the window dimensions, the material being conveyed, expected contaminant, belt speed, product condition and required response after a signal. Where ferromagnetic contamination needs to be physically removed, a magnetic stage can be reviewed separately in the process sequence.
